Boiled wool is a knit fabric which has been fulled in boiling water. This produces a tight, dense felted fabric which is warm, strong, and resistant to water and wind. Suitable uses would include coats, jackets, hats, ponchos, and outdoor wear. The felting of the wool means edges will not fray and do not need to be hemmed leaving some interesting options!
